"Feel Good" with Core Training

Your core muscles are the muscles of your abdomen and low back area.  It is these muscles that protect your back and assist with good posture.

A strong, stable core is crucial to enhancing your sports performance as well.  For example, if your spine acts as a powerful base for your legs and arms, you will be able to put more power with less effort behind each swing of the golf club. 

A stronger core also helps improve your overall balance.  The core muscles, along with the nervous system, surround the spine and help with body position control.  It is vital to your fitness training to challenge and develop these muscles with Core Training classes.  Core Training classes will use performance tools such as Swiss balls, wobble boards, foam rollers, weighted medicine balls, and trampolines to strengthen and condition.

Pilates can help heighten body awareness and coordination, improve core strength, promote flexibility and agility, and teach good posture.
